The terrain is a short but good climb. It could be very "interesting, in the winter.

The cache was place in honor of Rangely's "new" Jeep and rock crawling park. It is just at the entry so does not require 4WD. The container is a standard ammo box appropriately labeled. The original contents include Gnome items, a paperback book, small nutcracker, slinky, work light and a variety of small items for kids. There are great views of the White River Valley and Blue Mountains and as the U-2 song goes, "See the oil fields at first light"

I stalked this GZ for three days waiting for the campers to leave....

Neat location and a nice view. I was there in the late afternoon. I imagine watching the sun come up on the oilfield would be sort of cool.

my first Geocache!!!!!! FOUND IT!!!!!!!
Nice hike. lots and lots of NATS.
took a Chevy emblem, left a geocach Swag rock ( I made)
(*whoever takes my rock please send me a pic, I'd like to see who ends up with my rocks. email on bottom of rock)

This was a great hike after a hard day of wheelin' in the rocks.
PERFECT find! Cache is in great shape!
Took a Green Army Guy and left a Travel Bug (SOMEONE GET IT SOON!)

This was our first Geocach. Just about missed it, but found it as we where leaving. Can't wait to find more boxes. Very Fun.
