Replacement for a cache we had attempted to hide on leap day… too close to something we couldn't see on the map! No harm no foul but we did change the hidden on date because we grabbed this one from where it was originally hidden and brought to its new location. We tried to make it just as difficult as before! Keeping the same name and same D/T and container just a wildly different location.

Wow, I am on a roll, 3rd McMaceFam cache today. Haven’t seen a cache container colored like this one before. So much fun! This one gets a favorite too.

So this might be one of those caches that you get blessed with walking right up to OR you look, and look and look and come up empty because the coords jump around and there are just SO many possibilities. The store's security team stopped by to see what we were up to and since they were not familiar with geocaching (!) they encouraged us to move along fairly soon. So we reached out to the CO and a fellow cacher. The fellow cacher provided excellent help and we were eventually able to sign the log and replace as found. Great camo and great area with a little privacy (except security--ha!) Thanks to the CO for the fun!

Teamed up with DarthRitalin after work today to find 3 caches for the Equinox digital souvenir, and we parked nearby. Started looking for a Rock in a Hole (lots of rocks here), and ... kept looking. And kept looking.
And kept looking.
Okay, D3 is realistic and there was still some snow on the ground. And our GPS devices were bouncing here and there.
We spent a good 10 minutes or so looking in a relatively small area before time got the better of us, and we had to move on.
Hopefully next time.
But thanks for a challenging one !
