Took the Dune buggy to drive around Storm Mountain to get a couple caches up there. Finally made the first rocky climb and the car died. Complete power failure. I was digging around in the car looking for what came loose when the ranger came up behind us. Said if we could push it up to the top of the part behind us we could at least coast out. ARGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We pushed the car back up into an empty spot to turn it around and suddenly power came back on. I was able to get the car to start and finished turning it around and then we started back down to home. It died a couple more times coming down the hill but each time it restarted quickly. We drove all the way home.

Once home it seemed to be running okay so thought we would run over to King Soopers and I would run it through the car wash. Dropped off the Mrs and half way to the car wash it completely died again. ARGHHHHHHHH.......

Called my daughter at home. Had her bring my truck and a tow bar and then proceeded to tow the car back home. Yes, it still needs cleaned up and then have to figure out the wiring issue. :(

The upside to this was we were able to grab this cache along our route today. Thanks for the hide.

Easy find. Cache is badly rusted shut Frown Took some time to pry it open but finally had success. Inked the log and replaced as found. TFTH! Log is dry and intact. CO might want to consider changing the container to something that won't rust over time.

Decided to enjoy the beautiful scenery and go for a hike up the buckhorn. Enjoyed the day and bonus for me that I got a couple caches. Thanks for the cache!!
