Now there are two reasons to find the "top of the town", and enjoy the unique view in all directions. I strongly recommend that you take a moment and also view from the highest point, and figure out what the metal coffins are for. There is parking at the top of the hill.

Those who are familiar with this type of container know that the proper way to place the log back into the container is to place the log into the cap and then place the container over the top of it and screw it back on.

I am waiting for the library to open this afternoon so I'm taking advantage of this gorgeous morning to cache the area. I've recently moved back here from 10 years of overcast, grey Lansing, Michigan and I feel giddy being at the top of the hill seeing the mountains again. I headed over here from the other cache in the park and couldn't help but think how great it is to be caching in July. I recently moved here from Arkansas where the heat, snakes, chiggers, snakes, wasps, snakes, spiders, snakes, poison ivy, and snakes keep you inside for most of the summer. Came over here and had a good idea what I was looking for, but it still took me a few minutes to spot it. Everything is in good shape, signed the log as "lapaw" to save space. TFTF - #1601

Thanks, BaldEagleMan! There were two older gentlemen from India sitting there, and it did not look like they were leaving anytime soon. I explained what I was doing, and even showed them the log sheet. They were impressed. My daughter and her sons are on vacation, so I get to take care of her dog, making a visit in the early morning, noon, and evening in far north Arvada. I had some time this morning to visit Thornton between visit. This is a part of the pocket query of the caches I have not found yet close to home.

I went for a little 36 mile bike ride today to get some exercise and find some caches including this one at 10:14 AM. It was a beautiful day to be out riding and caching. I enjoyed all the caches I found. Thanks for the cache and for making my route more fun!
