We sure enjoyed solving the puzzle for this one a while back and since it was a very warm day for the beginning of February (in the mid 50s), we thought we'd get out and get a couple of smileys. Little did we know, that it was super muddy and slushy. We could not believe our eyes, when we saw a guy riding a motorized wheel (about 1.5 ft diameter) through the ruts. We watched him for some time. Finally he moved a bit further away, so we could get to the cache site. Fairly easy find. Tftc.

Finally getting out here to grab a couple of these rock band puzzle caches I've worked out earlier. Perfect time of the year to have the place to myself, and it turned out to be a beautiful day as well. This may be a good time of the year to stay at this campground. Although I can't go camping without a campfire, it's like trying to go swimming without getting wet.....can't do it! Thank you again for the great cache series!

Much easier to look for today than it was on Labor Day. There were still a few campers but they ignored me while I rooted around in the tree. The hint helped, thanks. Signed the log. Maybe some day I'll take the new trail that goes from here along the canyon rim.

My dad decided to wake me up this morning by calling and asking if I wanted to take a geo-run to Canon. I had just spent the other day solving puzzles, so we headed out here. My dad had never been out here before, so he was ready to explore. We had to squeeze in through the Buckskin Joe auction. Vehicles everywhere.

Fun find as I drove in and around the Rocky Mountains before Geowoodstock. TFTC and fun
It was a beautiful day to cache in an area of the US that is stunning in the morning and evening.

Thank you -

In the area with my Father who is visiting from Georgia. Stopping for a few of the caches in the area and showing him a bit of the Colorado scenery. Sad to see the results of the fire but happy to see some areas untouched and the beginnings of regrowth in the area. He was a bit unsure when we left the paved roadways but now understands why I drive a geo pickup Thanks for the series of puzzles.
