Found it on a cold windy November afternoon ... had a tiny plastic container so put log in there and put back where I found it.

The log had been wet but not today. After signing we placed it in a small Ziploc and replaced it where we found it. TFTC!

Container is completely missing. Found the peice of paper lying in the dirt. Placed under small rock in a crack. Very surprised I found it given that there is no container.

Went all around it the first time then found it when we went back for a second look. The cap is pretty much destroyed but so far the log isn't wet. Found one similar to this a couple years ago just a little farther east along the book cliffs.....pretty ingenious!!!!
