This series uses wintergreen breath mint containers gifted to us by our sister-in-law.  Look for five to be released in the upcoming weeks.  We moved to a different neighborhood this winter and wanted to highlight some of our favorite new spots.  This cache is located in a nice Denver park with a lake, playground, rec center, and dog park.  We come here almost daily!  Parking coordinates provided in waypoints.  There is a sand dollar (dreaming of warmer weather) for FTF.

Spent some time this morning wandering around the Lakewood area, helping a frog get thru a maze - this was the first stop on a park-once-find-a-dozen excursion, TN-LN-SL. Thanks !

{FTF} @ 5:04PM

It was very cold and the road conditions were bad. At points it was almost a white out. And yet, there I was heading out so that I could be the first to sign a slip of paper! There were actually a lot of cars in the parking lot and lots of dogs in the dog park as well. In fact, while I was making my way over to ground zero, it appeared that somebody was headed in that direction. However, that person was just heading towards the dog park, evidently to meet up with a pet and partner.

Once near ground zero it was pretty obvious to me what the hiding spot was likely to be and I quickly had the container in hand. Too bad I had to remove my glove to take care of the rest of the business. My hands got really cold!

I was happy to sign in pole position and leave the sand dollar for the next person.
