This cache has been placed on a very special day that only comes around once every four years...LEAP DAY!  Why did we call it Grandpa's Leap Day Cache II? Because four short years ago we placed Grandpa's Leap Day Cache (GC8KGYA) in honor of a very special person whose birthday it is!  Check out our sister cache for some fun names.  We decided to twist it up a bit with this one and make sure that the PLACED DATE was on Leap Day, also a very rare thing to accomplish.  

We decided to make this a LetterBox Hybrid because there just aren't that many of them around and it's fun to see where people have been if you do the postcard thing or if you like the stamp thing. Both are present in this container which is also fun sized.  Please sign or stamp the official log with your own stamp if you have one.

Please leave the stamp in the container as it is part of the Letterbox Cache.

If you plan to hike this trail, bring plenty of water and if you have a chance please practice CITO.
