This cache was inspired by a cache I found in Montana a while back.

The cache is not at the posted coordinates, but will get you to Benchmark JK0549, designation S 337. Start there and use your GPSr to project a waypoint 56 feet at 229 degrees. (Or just face southwest and pace it off.) There you will find the cache.

That was a fun find and lots of awesome rocks around. Even found some petrified wood! Took the trackable to move on to its next adventure. Left some other goodies

I stopped by to check on this cache today. I'm not sure what the last cacher found, but the last signature on the log is Sept. 10, 2016. Cache is right where it is supposed to be. I dropped a travel bug in the hope that it will encourage people to come out and look for this one. Cache on!

I received a message from a cacher who was approached by the adjacent land owner to see what he was doing. The cacher reported the the land owner claims to own the land up to the edge of the road. While I think that is preposterous, if it becomes an issue I will just archive this. Anyway, I went out and checked on this. For now the cache is alive and well and clearly not on private property.
