I conspired with Mtnbirders to place this cache. it's not about the hike.
it's not about the view. it's all about the hides. perhaps you will find this cache challenging, or frustrating, or both. but we hope you will also find it enjoyable.

TFTMC I came down from Woodland Park today with nicehice to finish off a Reverse Wherigo nearby. We had worked on this multi in the past and had the final worked out so we decided to stop and finally sign the log. All was in good shape at the final. In fact, I think I left my water bottle there after signing the log.

We decided to pick this cache up one day at a time instead of all of the stages in one day. It gives us an excuse to get out hiking! We were surprised at the variety of difficulty of the hides----and thankful :O) Found final in very good condition and signed the log. Thanks for the fun!

After finding a couple Whereigos in the area, animjason and I tried to tackle the last leg of this cache before he had to head out to an appointment.

We didn't have much luck finding the a couple of the states but we finally figured it out and animjason was the one who spotted the cache at ground zero. Thanks for replacing this one and giving me the chance to earn another multi cache for the stats. I look forward to finding more of your caches, RPieperCO.

Last cache of the day, for now, mwahahahha.

As you read from my previous logs, I am already SUPER LATE to getting to my appointment, but...

Last year I found Waypoint 1, but had no luck finding Waypoint 2. I was in the area again (and no longer had the coords), so we visited WP1 again and headed to WP2.

Looked and looked, under a time crunch, no luck, then YAY! Found it!!! Punched in the coords, but it wasn't where we were heading next so just saved them this time.

Went and did some caching down south, that was an adventure!

On the way home traffic was crazy and needed a break. Decided to go grab at least one more waypoint while "nearby". We found this one the quickest, thanks for replacing this one. Oh, that is where the next stop is? Okay, now we HAVE to go! Text my nurse and let her know "I'm on my way" as my nose grows.

Found the final in great shape, just has a new white layer on it now lol. We signed it and were off on our separate ways after a very eventful morning down south. Sometimes the unplanned, crazy, just-one-more adventures are the best!

We were out for a Thanksgiving hike but couldn't find this. Thought first cache might be engraved on a silver plate but no. Maybe in the summer when the conditions are better
