The Carriage Hills Ponds Playground is located on the southern end of Estes Park, near Colorado Highway 7 at the junction of Carriage Drive and Larkspur Avenue. The nature-themed play structure includes slides, a variety of climbing elements, and two bays of swings.

The new playground was built in September 2014, on land owned by the Town of Estes Park.

Cleveland-based Nordson Corporation and its Fort Collins-based subsidiary, Value Plastics Inc., selected Estes Park as the recipient of Nordson Corporation's 2014 Big Build Project -- a charitable program in which Nordson supplies funding and employee volunteers to build playgrounds in and near communities where it operates. (Taken from EVRPD website). There is a convenient parking area. The kids can have fun playing here while looking for the cache.

Great place for families and children. The playground is at beautiful location. Great access for hikers and bikers. One of my favorite cache places. Clever hide.

I can't believe I haven't been down here to get this one yet, but sometimes it's easy to ignore a close one..."I can go get that any time"...and I personally don't give a rip about ever being FTF so I ignore notifications.

Anyway, today my husband and I were out for a walk and this place was nice and deserted because it was cold and snowing. It might be May 21, but it's Estes Park. It took me a while, but it was there and in good shape. TFTC!
