Scenic view  Available during winter  Parking available  Stealth required  Tree Climbing

There are two basic requirements for this cache: be as stealthy as possible in a (frequently) high-muggle area and be able to climb like a spider monkey.
Eighteenth in our series celebrating our fabulous, furry feline friends. "The Cat's Pajamas" is a phrase for something considered to be the epitome of cool and wonderful. Hope you enjoy!

Near an amazingly nifty playground ~ one of our very favorites! Your kiddos will enjoy the opportunities there but I wouldn't recommend you send them up after this cache.

Fabulous views of the mountains, even from the ground here.

Our expert tree-climber rated this cache as "highly-difficult". Although it's not as high as some we've recently completed, it is a trickier path up to the goal with less room to maneuver, etc.

As always, all caches may not not suitable for all cachers.

Profuse furry, friendly, Feline felicitations to the fabulous Sandhillers for FTF (First to Feline) and heartfelt hurrahs to The Porters for their valiant STF (Second to Feline) effort ~ both in less than an hour from publication! WOW!!

As icezebra11 reported, we had a great trip to Castle Rock and the Parker area today with his puppy Angel and my puppies Orizaba and Chimborazo. We met up at the ParknRide in Loveland at 6 am and drove directly to Castle Rock, starting our cache-finding hikes with the dogs at the Ridgeline Open Space, shifting from there to Miller Park for a long loop hike involving some fine caches, then heading back northward to the Parker area for some good targets. It was a very successful day of geocaching, despite the temperatures reaching at least the mid-90s while were were on the trails.

This was our last cache of the day. After the short walk to it and the nice tree climb we piled back into the vehicle, drove a mile to I 25, and headed home to Loveland and Wellington. It was a memorable day of excellent caching. Thanks for this one, The Green Cat & Snuggly Kitten!

Denali41 and I, along with his Lab puppies Zaba and Chimi, and my Lab puppy Angel had a great caching day in the Castle Rock and south Metro areas today, scoring on a lot of really nice caches.

Our first stop was to do some hiking in Castle Rock's Ridgeline Open Space. After we finished there, we next went to Miller Park. It was definitely a really warm day on the trails! After finishing in Castle Rock we headed for a few caches in Parker. Then we headed north for a few in the Centennial area.

We parked east of the cache in the parking lot. Took some climbing steps and an pole in case either would be needed. Nope, easy climb. The container needs replacing. The plastic is very brittle from the sun and pieces are missing so it is not watertight. Thanks for the placement The Green Cat & Snuggly Kitten!!!

I spent the day in Denver with LilRyRy and CDRSheppo after attending a library program with Nature's Educators and signing the boys up for the summer reading program. I still need to fill my D/T grid, so this was a new one for me. I brought along a TOTT but it didn't end up being necessary. Even LilRyRy climbed up after me, which nearly gave me a heart attack. Both boys admired the awesome playground, we will have to visit again sometime. Thanks for the fun cache!

Group find after the event in the park.
The height might have been lowered by someone, otherwise I would not have been able to get it!

Not as hard a climb as I was expecting, but stealth was indeed a challenge. Super cute cache!

New day, new adventures! Approve

Today we travel from Eaton to Colorado Springs

We found some really good caches, thanks.

We wanted this DT so we stop here. We found the container on the ground. We sign it and then we tried to put it were we think it should be.

I logged this cache together with KeWi, Wingren and Team-Prince.

Greetings from Sweden.

This year’s trip is a hunt for old caches.
I want to complete my forth lap and the rest of the gang is aiming for there first.
On the schedule are Mingo, Arikaree, Tarryall and a few other old ones then will we finish with Potters Pond.
So far have we avoided the bad weather and the tropical storm Alberto passed us.
