Great little hike year round in Deer Creek Canyon Park. It is a short hike with 10% grade. Great view of the south valley. My 6 year old son says he wants to become a paleontologist when he gets older. He wanted to have a "treasure" near Morrison were Stegasaurus' fossils were found.

Putting these so far off the trail creates unnecessary erosion. Too many cacti as well.

Out hunting that rarest of dinosaurs, the world turtle, as a thunderstorm blew down the canyon. Much more challenging with the scrub oak fully leafed out. TFTC
