Scarlet Witch, exhausted and heartbroken, collapsed and she was assimilated into the collective.

The Avengers were defeated. New York City lay in ruins, its heroes assimilated, its technology used against it. The chilling hum spread across the globe, a harbinger of the Borg's victory. Humanity faced oblivion, its only hope extinguished by the heroes it once relied on.

This ember, once fanned, could potentially ignite a fire within the collective, a rebellion against the Borg's cold logic.
