Good one animjason! I'm not even going to go there! Drove to Timnath this morning and took my puppy for a nice walk. We chose this spot because I wanted to try this cache. It was tricky for me because, as others have said, familiarity with the neighborhood definitely is an advantage. Fortunately I chose the correct direction to locate stage 2 and made a quick find. Thanks Barasaur!!!

Was in the area going for a FTF on one of Barasaur's newer caches, and couldn't pass up the chance to give this one a go. I think the best log in a long time award goes to animjason on this one. Anyways, after some very serious laughs I decided I better get a grip on myself, and go find my pen is intercache smile.
Quick work on the first bit of the intercache, and like others had to do a bit of hunting for the next stage. Too bad my friend Richard wasn't along... he loves pens. I remember exclaiming 'Dick! If only you where here to witness Barasaur's fine pen is cache!' I'll have to come back sometime. I think a lot of us suspect it's more fun to find your pen is cache with other people.
Excellent final. I know Barasaur may have considered other hiding locations, but his pen is cache really fit here. You do have to be considerate of where you put such things after all. Well put together all around. I must say I'm a bit surprised it's not a premium 'member' cache. Will have to come back later for a few other caches in the area, but at least I will not have to look at Barasaur's pen is cache for awhile. TFTC|SL

Went for a drive around the Fort Collins area with "animjason" on a warm and sunny day - this was the fourty-first of fourty-six geocaches that we found along the way. TN-LN-SL. Thanks !

As soon as I saw an Intercache called Pen Is, I just had to do it! :)
Found with Bhob while working on some numbers, and non-traditional caches for fun and for hidden creatures.
My favorite pen is the model 15. I never go caching without my Pen15! There was one cache that I did that was so hard, I lost my Pen15, and had to purchase another one. By this time, they had an upgrade, the Extreme Strength, Pen15es. This new model really gripped me, and I had to grab hold of it. Now I only go caching with Pen15es. It will be very hard to lose this one.
Thanks for the cache. Not knowing the area made this tricky but we got it. Loved the Pen15 final, gets a fave!

Came back to check the spot I saw while leaving last time. Success! This is a tough one if your not familiar with the area, and probably even if you are. Thanks for the effort to put this one together. I had not used intercache before.

Out grabbing a few caches. Had to deal with some real spotty cell service, but finally got information downloaded. However, the information provided presented a new difficulties since I'm not from the neighborhood. Spent awhile looking without success. Finally decided to try again another day. As I was leaving I think I finally spotted a possible location.

That certainly wasn't a typical sort of puzzle cache. The puzzle was easy. Sorting out where to find the cache was another story.
After looking closer to posted coordinates first, we started considering the photos more carefully. GZ doesn't look the same now as it did in all of the pictures, but certain features in the photos made a wider search inevitable. Took our best shot, driving the cachemobile directly to the cache location, as it turned out, and made the find.
