I was unable to find this one today despite a spirited search.

11:22 AM We are here from Dallas for our typical August vacation in Divide in order to skip the Texas heat for a couple of weeks.
Today I am hiking/caching around Mt Herman with WingsAndTails.
She had found this one last September, but allowed me to make the grab.
Great views here. This was the end of the north-bound leg. We turned west and south for the return leg.
I signed the log. Thanks, chefstern, for the cache.

it was a beautiful morning for a hike, so we decided to go after 3 caches up in the hills west of Palmer Lake. All containers and logs were in great shape. Thanks to the COs for placing and maintaining these caches.

Wow! Neat spot. RPieperco had already found this cache but it was on the way up the ridge so we stopped for me to find it. Then he pointed out the shelter nearby. Took a few moments to enjoy the view and admire the shelter before moving on. Sl, thanks!

Out on a the first hike since the treacherous Tragedy cache last fall. I figured I'd be dragging Rick down on the climb, but this was much more doable than the hill that hides Tragedy. In fact the whole trip with searching and the round about path, which I calculate to be about 2 miles from his car to where we left my car. Awesome fun day even with the bit of rain we caught. TFTC!

Thanks for the cache! THeSKuLL and I decided to head up the mountain here to finally get our first hike in of the year. We found a handful of caches up to this point (which was as high and far as we went). We found the cache and an amazingly built little fort. Obviously a lot of work went into it. With a bit more work this could be an amazing getaway camping house! The cache was nearby and in great condition. We signed and stamped the log and dropped off a bunch of TB's. Thanks for placing this cache! Great day!

This led us to a very cool lean- to shelter that looks to have taken some major effort! pick axe still there where the builder carved out some serious rock! well done! Found it on a glorious day for hiking. We parked at the end of rock ridge road. Perfect cloud cover for a bit of bushwhacking, great string of caches along this ridge line, thanks so much for bringing us to this place. We would have never thought of hiking here without geocaching. Makes us love the game so much that it brings us to places we would never have seen before. Caches as waaaay out in the open. log and contents re in great shape... thought about starting our own little vhs rental program with the collection inside the cache :) SL TFTC

A quick find on our way back from our hike and a great fort nearby on the mountainside. Wish we had longer to play. :) TFTC
