RoJo and Mrs J hiked a loop on Clarks Bench and placed a few caches along the way. This is the begining and a good place to park. BYOP and be really careful of the cliffs and drop-offs. There is some beautiful scenery along to way so bring your camera. It is a fairly steep climb following an old jeep road to the top. We did a little cross country to get to the east side. Enjoy the hike.
Congratulations to Pauleefox and Whizzkid for FTF

Well, after making it to the mine and finding two caches on the way back, we couldn't come up with this one. 4 people looked for 15 mins. We must have been right next to it! Next time...

We were visiting the area for a week and heard about this hike being highly recommended. Despite the high temperatures we arrived at GZ to hunt this cache and begin our hike towards the Mica/Quartz Mine armed with lots of water. NW quickly had our name signed to the log and off we went, hoping we got an early enough start to beat the afternoon highs. Thanks for the fun, Nukeworker and Racquetball Girl
