When we moved to Colorado Springs a few months ago, I wondered where this trail went. With the incredible view it provides of Pikes Peak, I was surprised no one else had placed a cache here! The best part is it’s less than a mile (walking) from my house.
To find this cache, you’ll need to answer some questions as you walk. Park wherever you can (legally, of course). I used the crosswalk on Briargate Blvd. that’s near the first waypoint.

At N38° 56.612 W104° 47.067 you’ll find a bridge. Rather than be truly evil and ask you to count the rectangles, just write down the number of vertical posts holding the rails up. This is “H”.

In New Mexico, the Pinon tree is famous for its nuts. At N38° 56.549 W104° 47.059 there is an odd sort of tree. How many nuts are at its base? This number, plus 10 is FG, plus 10 more is AB.

When you get to N38° 56.548 W104° 46.875, look directly north. There are a certain number of large roll-up doors. You’ll need this number for D and add one to give you C. Add one more, and you’ll have the number you need for “I”.

A little further down the trail, you’ll get a great view of Pikes Peak. To narrow down your search area, you’ll need to count the number of triangles on the gate at N38° 56.425 W104° 46.845. If you add 2 it will give you J. If you add 3, you’ll have E.

Now it’s time to put the numbers together. The cache is located at N38° AB.CDE W104° FG.HIJ

Please replace the cache exactly as you found it.

Today was the day to log some multis for a challenge I am working on and this one made the list. Nice easy walk and fun way to set up stages. Cache in great shape at the final. TFTMC

So glad to be able to grab a multi on this absolutely beautiful day. I like the "field puzzle" types except when there's a possibility of more than one reasonable answer at a stage which was of course the case today. But I answered it with my 1st idea & it was correct. Yes, this is a wonderful view of the Peak. I beat it's really spectacular in the AM.

Thanks for the fun Multi! I had started this one some time back. Not sure why I never finished it! This weeks challenge for the Mary Hyde is to find some Multi's so I thought I'd finish this one up. Fun journey! The final was well camo'd and took me a few to spot it. Signed and stamped the log and replaced as found. All is well!

We needed a quick find today for our daily streak, but didn't want to do a park n grab. The weather is just toooooo beautiful! We saw this multi near our home and headed out after all of the neighborhood kiddos were safely in school. Found a great parking spot and began our quiet, peaceful walk. Each stage was simple and fun and the final was in great shape. The photo of the view of the Peak shows our first snow of this season :O) Don't you just LOVE living here?!?!? Gamma is a native and won't live anywhere else. SL Thanks for this scenic multi.

Could maybe use some maintenance.
The coordinates seem to be in those two groves.

Pretty sure I was looking in the right place (especially based on certain image in the gallery), but couldn't find it. Will try again at some point.

Replaced the container at the end. The original location was no longer suitable, so the cache page has been updated to lead you to the new final location.
