This is a Wherigo Cache that will take you on a very nice walk or bike ride, and reward you with many caches along the way!

Congrats to Dud&Plato on FTF!

For starters, this Wherigo will take you along a nice sidewalk and eventually the Power Trail Bike Path here in South Fort Collins.  It will mostly be on flat, solid ground, however most caches are hidden off the trail to keep them muggle-free.

This Wherigo Cartridge is meant to be a fun adventure for you to get many caches along the way.  Some of the caches have been placed for quite a while, and some are brand new.  This Wherigo will take you to each cache along the way, even if you've already visited them before, and end with a final Wherigo Cache.  Along the way, if you complete this Wherigo, you will have found 6 Traditional Caches, 2 Multi-Stage Caches, 1 Letterbox-Hybrid Cache, 1 Puzzle Cache, and 2 Wherigo Caches.  Not a bad day at all!

Keep in mind, there are no requirements to find all the caches along the way.  If you have already found them, or just simply want to skip ahead to the end of the Wherigo, once you enter a zone you can simply continue on to the next one.  For those who wish to find each cache along the way, your time will be rewarded with lots of smileys and 5 different types of caches along the way!

FIRST DISCLAIMER:  The total distance covered in this Wherigo is approximately 1.8 Miles one way.  Therefore, if you are walking or riding your bike from the start location, it could end up being 3.6 Miles both ways.  Keep in mind, many of the caches along the way will have additional parking waypoints to help you if you want to leap-frog between locations.  I will warn you that most locations will still require you to walk quite a bit, and there will not always be parking near the bike path.  Make sure you give yourself plenty of time!

Here is a list of the caches you will come across along the way.  I recommend taking a look at them ahead of time.  You will especially want to pay attention to the Multi-Caches, as this cartridge only takes you to the first stage, but doesn't give away where the final locations will be.  You may want to save them to a list on your phone, on your GPS receiver, or print out the pages ahead of time, whatever is easiest for you.  Simply click on the GC code links to be directed to each cache's page.

Don't forget to log all the caches when you are done, or along the way.  This is meant to be a fun adventure with a huge bonus by directing you towards all the other caches in the series along the way.  This Wherigo Cartridge is not difficult, you simply need to go from one point to another.  The main challenge is distance and time, so the Terrain Rating is adjusted accordingly.

Second Disclaimer: There is NO candy inside these containers, nor should you put any inside them.  The name is for the purposes of the containers which you will understand when you find them.  You should NEVER put food inside a geocaching container for safety, health reasons, and of course it will eventually attract wild animals.  Please, if you are on this trail and you are hungry, do NOT eat my containers!  They are meant to be fun and out of the ordinary so enjoy and take pictures if you'd like to share them!

Thanks for putting this series together. We enjoyed our walk and the variety of caches. Found with dustyriver. We wanted to come up from Denver and attend an event in Northern Colorado. It has been a few years since we have, so we figured we would make a day out of it. We enjoyed all the finds and we really need to cache this area more often. Thanks for all the fun!

And last but not least, the final Wherigo! GotYour6 found this earlier, so just peace love pi and I walked the trail. Made a number of finds along the way and thought what a great way to tie this series together. It took us a while and there were a number of stops, but we didn't have a single glitch with the cartridge. Thank you for a great way to spend a couple hours! Find #3401

Geocaching with Betzij from Longmont to Fort Collins today finding virtual caches, Wherigo caches, Challenge caches, multi caches, letter box, and traditional caches. We replaced several wet long sheets and baggies, also, trying to help the COs in maintaining their caches. The caches requiring verification received write note and those will be edited when I return to SC and am at the computer. I sent messages to two COs today, and they responded promptly. Thanks to all of the COs for putting out and maintaining the caches for us to enjoy. Quite a pleasant experience for four days in CO!

We are on our 4th day of our joint geocaching spree in Colorado: DDSRN from SC and me from Montana. Finally woke up to a clear day and no rain until very late afternoon. Today should be an easier day with no long climbs up mountains or snow to content with like we had on Day 2.

This Wherigo was along a good walking path with slight rises. Too bad many of the caches it takes you to are either archived or missing. But we managed to find the ones that are still in play. TFTH

Enjoying a trip out west and doing some wherigo's. This is my favorite type of caching instead of the skirt lifters. I love cycling, but didn't have my bike with me on this one, so just made the hike around the wherigo. Thanks for all the time and effort into building these types of caches. Thanks for the cache-signed log.
