This is a real quick Letterbox Hybrid Cache added to the "Candy Trail". There are 2 ways to find it, read below to find out how!
Congrats to Dud&Plato on FTF!
This is a Letterbox Hybrid Cache. Keep in mind that this cache has stamps inside for those who wish to stamp their journal or a piece of paper. These stamps must REMAIN inside the cache at ALL times!
Now, there are 2 ways to find this simple Letterbox Hybrid Cache.
1) The normal way to find a Letterbox is to use clues to find it. You must go to the given coordinates and find a piece of art in the ground. This piece of art is part of the Fort Collins Art in Public Places program, and if you have walked this path you will see them all over the place!
Step 1) Find Tom Wierbilis at the given coordinates
Step 2) Head South on the path until you have crossed 23 cracks in the ground (meaning you will cross 23 cement blocks in case someday extra cracks appear)
Step 3) Turn East and head to the closest solitary tree. You will find the Letterbox Hybrid Cache at the base of the tree. Make sure to re-cover it when done!
Remember to leave the stamps inside and sign the log, the rest of the SWAG is up for grabs or trade.
2) If you are doing the nearby Wherigo Cartridge: "Moose's Leftover Candy: Final" (GC5N4VN) then you will be taken straight to the Letterbox Hybrid as part of the journey. You do not have to do the Wherigo to find this cache, however if you do the Wherigo it will take you through all the caches in the area including this one!
The Letterbox/Hybrid Cache has room for small SWAG and plenty of room for trackables! Feel free to leave some and trade SWAG as you wish. The stamps are candy-themed with one that looks suspiciously like a moose (or a reindeer if you want to be that way)!
This is meant to be a quick, fun, family friendly LBH and to be an added bonus for doing the nearby Wherigo, however to make it fair obviously you can find this LBH any time with or without the Wherigo cartridge. Enjoy!
NOTE: There is NO candy inside these containers, nor should you put any inside them. The name is for the purposes of the containers which you will understand when you find them. You should NEVER put food inside a geocaching container for safety, health reasons, and of course it will eventually attract wild animals. Please, if you are on this trail and you are hungry, do NOT eat my containers! They are meant to be fun and out of the ordinary so enjoy and take pictures if you'd like to share them!
