Part of the One Degree of Separation Geocaching Project. This is a seed that came from One Degree of Separation: Twin B (by Greasepot) (GCWAX1), a seedpod cache. GCRM
This is our team's contribution to the One Degree of Separation Geocaching Project. This is a seed from One Degree of Separation: Twin B (by Greasepot) (GCWAX1). The ODS project was launched to unite the entire geocaching continuum together at one point using the "Small World Theory" as it pertains to geocaching. If even half of the nearly 13,000 caches originally released on 5/26/2006 are placed as geocaches, then no geocacher in the world (even those having 1 find) should be much beyond 3 degrees of separation from every other geocacher in the world; but the REAL object of this project is to bring that number down to 1 degree for as many geocachers as possible. One Degree of Separation is a project that has been taking shape and GROWING for years. It's a variation of the "Small World" concept that was proposed in the early 20th century. Many people are familiar with the "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon" game (there's even a Travel Bug), but few know just how far back the idea goes. For more information on this project and the Small World Theory go to: http://geoonedegree.proboards51.com/index.cgi To visually see how the project grows over time check the ODS: PRIME! geocaching profile stats at: http://www.geocaching.com/profile/?guid=c8b5d7b5-b3ea-4e3c-b72c-01b2ab78a6a9 Enjoy the hunt -- and the view!

As mentioned before, this cache is a little north of the coordinates. If it looks like it should be in a certain spot, look again there. That's what I ended up doing. TNLN!

Found despite problematic GPS reception. Off of closed trail. Scenic and quiet spot with distant views. Left Blue Ridge Parkway. Thanks for placing. K7

Finally found this one. Embarrassed that I never found it before. The clue is off and this is bigger than a micro, but it is actually an easy find once you ignore the clue.

A nice hike from the Independence TH lot and covered about 5.5 trail miles to find 6 caches. Beautiful morning and great views throughout my hike! Yeah, the clue seemed off on this one, but I was able to make a relatively quick find west of the clue and signed the original log. Not sure what WP was seeing as there was plenty of space on the "pink" log. Cheers!
