This geocache is placed along the Filmore Tributary, which feeds into Big Dry Creek. I asked the South Suburban Parks and Recreation District who "Filmore" is and why a tributary is named for him/her, and this was their response: "In looking at Mile High Flood District's maps, the official name of the tributary is Big Dry Creek Branch 2. The tributary meets the main Big Dry Creek channel in the Tiffany subdivision, and it generally follows the alignment of Fillmore Circle. Our best guess is one of the L's in Fillmore was dropped to Filmore. It is not a very exciting story, but it follows the naming convention of other tributaries in the area."

After a nearby event we teamed up with OUT14ND3R to find a few caches on a nice and slightly chilly walk. This was our third find on our walk. Coords were a little off, but the hint put us in the right spot.
Thanks for the cache!
