After walking back home I chose to look for it. But I couldn’t find it! I looked everywhere but no sign of rust. Hope to find it some time

~ for us the coordinates were just a little bit off. This was admittedly our second time looking for it. With a help from a phone a friend (thanks Dud&Plato) we finally found this sneaky one

Ah-ha moment with Spooty today. Why this one threw us so much, I'm still not sure. Perhaps it was the list of DNF's previous - but indeed it is there and in good shape! We have both seen similar to this style before, it's location was just well placed. Almost considered a DNF before the last second review of one of our first choices. Funny how that works! TFTC|SL

Found it at 0840.
I was caching for a bit with Dud&Plato. I'd DNFed this on my own, almost a year earlier, but came back again, with the hope of another cacher's eyes and wits helping me make the find.
We spent at least 5 minutes looking around, maybe 10 in all. We also noted the recent logging history. We eventually both thought the coordinates might be off, so broadened our search. Eventually, I was resigned to giving up. I don't know how close Dud&Plato was to doing so himself, but I had my back turned for a couple of seconds, and he found it!
After the fact, it seems that the coordinates are fairly accurate. I think, however, that other cachers might be fooled (like I was) by an inaccurate D/T rating. It's definitely not a 1-star Difficulty, in my book, while the Terrain is probably easier than its listed 2-star rating.
Glad to avenge this DNF with the help of a caching friend!

With all the DNFs in the past couple years, including mine, I really thought this one was gone. Nope! IT IS THERE! . Thanks for the memorable cache.
