Friday night cache flight! After work I headed north to complete a Whereigo and grab as many caches as possible. I didn't grab as many as I hoped, but ended up with 19 for the day. I replaced a few caches that were missing or damaged. During my adventure I walked through prairie dog fields, saw a hawk, horse and cow, scared a mouse that then scared me, and pet a French bulldog/Boston Terrier mix. Unfortunate fuel provided by McDonalds. Music by Blue October. Pretty successful night.
This is a strange night. Second time I have found 2 containers in one place. Weird thing is that you can't miss a container of this size here. They are right at the same place. I stamped my name on the one with a log and kept the other container to use as a future replacement. TFTC!

LOL, how does peace love pi convince me to do crazy stuff like I did today??? She is challenge obsessed, and found one where on the anniversary of when you started caching you find a cache for every year you’ve been caching. Sigh. I started caching on February 19, 2012, so I need 7 caches. On a day where the high is supposed to be 24. Should I wait until next year? I mean, what’s the difference between 7 finds and 8 finds? Then I got the reminder email on Monday night. Game on…

It’s lunchtime and up to a whopping 22 degrees. With flurries! I had a short lunch today, so I stuck near work and crossed my fingers. I really wanted to get three at lunch and just DNFed one in an evergreen. It’s probably there and I was just too cold to concentrate. Anyhoo… I bundled up for the short walk and tried to stay warm. To my surprise I found 2 containers at GZ, both out in the open. Usually I’d sign both logs but I was just way too cold for that today. Covered things up a bit better than I found them before heading back to work. Four down, three to go. Thanks for the smiley! Find #3212

Caching on our way to Wingin It. First time we have been to this dog park and unfortunately we didn't have Fred with us. The dogs that were at the park were definitely more interested in us than the other dogs and barked at us the whole time. Wandered around a bit before focusing on D/T rating and realized we were making it too hard. Found it quickly after that, in fact we found two caches ! Only signed one - wanted to get away from the barking dogs !
