Thank goodness this was such a nice day after such a bitter cold week. Got the final answers to this cache after starting it a LONG time ago. Went to get another cache and my alternator went out. Spent the rest of the day getting towed and getting repairs done at Luke's Auto Care. Luke was great and took care of my problem super quickly. Thanks for the great cache.

Cold and dreary day but it made for a good one to do a little research. It was awesome learning some of the history of this area. I've spent plenty of time there and thought I knew the area. Thanks for the walk back in time.

Thanks for the history! We spent the day in around this area grabbing caches I need for my Jasmer and Fizzy. I was able to fill three spots on my Jasmer, one spot on my Fizzy, and the blank I had on the calendar for today! Over all great caching day in this beautiful town. Thanks for putting it together.

We walk around these buildings weekly. It is interesting to learn how some have changed while others are essentially unchanged. Not too many virtuals left for us to do in the area. Sad that they had to go away before we really even got to start the game

Happy Small Business Saturday! I was visiting my hometown for Thanksgiving and we decided to participate in Small Business Saturday and go shopping downtown. So many of these businesses have changed since I grew up here. I can hardly keep up when I come to visit once a year. I didn't purchase too many things but it is still nice to spend some money at a small business instead of the big chain stores. We had a great time wandering in and out of the shops and we really enjoyed ourselves!

Sometimes the caching habits of others surprise me. How on earth has this cache only been found 48 times in 14 years?! And only 4 favorites? This cache was very easy and I really enjoyed completing it. My daughter came with me to finish off the second half of the VC and I enjoyed telling her stories of the many, many hours I spent here as a kid. Well, it will soon have 5 favorites because I will happily give one as well.

Thanks for keeping this one going all these years, it was very interesting!

Whew, hot days to be walking around downtown! I had the dog in the car, so I had to be quick about it. I drove around a little (with the ac blasting) to find the puma. Needed the librarian's help finding the book for this one too, but it was very straightforward once I did. I returned it to its rightful place afterwards. Neither of us knew what OPIE was though.
