If you've never driven this part of Peyton Hwy you'll want to do it during the day. It's beautiful out here! Road can be difficult during the winter.
Be extra cautious of wildlife if you do attempt this at night.

Nice big Costco size container full of goodies. Please trade up or equal. Please hide as good or better than found.

Thanks and happy trekking!!! :0)

I got 38 caches today; enough to earn the final Hidden Creatures World Turtle souvenir! TFTC. When I got to back to my car, I realized I didn't have my sunglasses. Retraced my steps, and got 'em!

Thanks for the cache! Started the morning off with some coffee and donuts at the CITO in Falcon. The weather is pretty miserable with so much snow and fog but I needed to get out and explore a bit. I've had my eye on visiting Elbert for a while now and decided since we were half way there might as well go see the area. The trip out was peaceful and the snow covered trees and valley were beautiful! The kids were enjoying the drive too! Once in Elbert we set about grabbing the caches we wanted to get. Found them all! On the way back we decided to do a little more exploring! While the drive out was nice, only wet, these back dirt roads were very much a mess! In my little car I was a bit nervous in a few places. The mud, snow, and water just made this drive way harder than I anticipated. Once at the GZ the kids decided to stay behind. I made my way to the GZ and passed it by at first. I had to double back to make the find. All is well. Signed and stamped the log and replaced as found. Luckily the dirt road ends soon! Thanks for placing this cache for us all to enjoy!

Stopped to get this nice hide. There was 3 trackables inside even though there are only 2 listed. I picked up all 3 to move on. One of the trackables was not logged into this cache so I will do that 1st so it gets its proper miles from Mexico.

A cold and windy MLK morning as I try and find a cache big enough to place a couple trackables that I’ve been holding onto WAY too long. Thanks for getting me off the couch to come out to rural Peyton.
