I noticed a cache in Parker that seems to be a tribute (or is it revenge) to this, so I solved this thinking it might help with the one in Parker. It didn't. Still cogitating on that one. Anyway, I stopped in today and signed the log. TFTC!

As usual, another devilishly clever puzzle. I thought I was on the right track, but things weren't finishing right. I tried a few worse ideas and then returned to my original idea. Still only partly successful, I brought this beast to the High Puzzle Council and was able to get the missing piece. I put the cute little solved puzzle in a furry pouch until I was in the area. Once at the GZ, I got a wasp scare, but found the container. After knocking the bug home off, I made the retrieval stamped my name, and put it back.
Today after work we headed north for another day of caching in the Broomfield area. On the way we saw a falcon, which is always a good luck sign. Then we saw a fox, another good omen. We had a good day caching with only a few DNFs. Indian food at Azrita Restaurant for a great dinner. The evening ended with a great picture of a distant lightning storm.
Thanks for the cache!

Took a nudge to get on the right path to solving this one. Just as the CO stated everything needed was on the cache page! Don't know when I saw so many wrong answers on the checker. Good one Sleuthers! TFTP Sl

We had an errand to run to go pick up a part and decided to grab a couple of the new puzzle caches in the area. Very nice hide, SL,TFTC
Note: By the way the nudge that was needed was also revealed by the CO, in the note after the puzzle was solved!

Drove up north before church to get this one. After exploring too many wrong paths, it was ironically humorous to find the solution back at the beginning. The cache owner's hints certainly helped us to make the u-turn. Tftc gets a favorite

Let me say this in the politest way possible. A cache page is no place for a discussion on Geocaching Etiquette. Everyone has an opinion on a plethora of Caching subjects and the place for that discussion is in the Geocaching/Groundspeak forums. The Cache Owner wants to know YOUR experience with finding their cache and in the case of a puzzle, maybe a little of how you solved it. I spent several hours OVER thinking this puzzle. And to be honest, the BEST hint for solving the puzzle is from sleuthers on the cache page. Two others gave me a nudge and the nudge was basically "read the cache page." Most people probably learned how to solve this puzzle watching shows that my two year old granddaughter watches. So after hours of reading "source code", "inverting contrast," "going to sleuthers profile and more, I had to start over and read the cache page. Funny thing, after solving the puzzle, I was the one who felt like a PIGEON! I think the CO knew that when he created the background graphic. This one gets a FAVORITE for the challenge and fun of talking with other cachers about the puzzle. The cache itself was an easy find but I think I lost the little O ring. I carry supplies but not O rings. If I find or buy the right size O ring, I will go back and put it on the container, its not far from where I live. THANK YOU Sleuthers for creating a complicated puzzle that more five years old could solve than adults! Let me add this hint, when my hint was "read the cache page", this also meant to read the CO's logs on the cache.
