I had been avoiding mystery caches as my more recent look revealed a lot of extensive transformer finding or historic building sighting. I was meeting a friend near here for a morning coffee and arrived early though so, while I waited, I figured I'd see what was nearby. I was happy to see this one had a much easier difficulty rating so set out to uncover the mystery! I was actually a bit off on my photo evidence but Tahosa filled me on the history and gave the go ahead to log this. Thanks for keeping the history going Tahosa, and being so prompt on messages!

This is Day 23 of 27 on our Road Trip Across the Southwest, beginning in Columbus, OH. Today we started by exploring the mesmerizing Quarry Exhibit Hall in Dinosaur National Monument, then drove across northwest Colorado before a late lunch in Steamboat Springs. We then took a scenic drive through Poudre Canyon to cross the Rockies and reach Fort Collins in the evening.

With over 200 finds of all types on our trip, we apologize for the copy/paste nature of our logs. Any memorable occurrences with the cache have been noted where possible. Thank you to all the cache owners who enriched our trip with their caches! The caches along the way are truly one of the main reasons we love road trips so much.

Made a drive by at this, our last cache of the day. Very creative! Sent the answer to the cache owner and then the kids and I continued on to our hotel for the evening. Tftc!

Ha! I've never found one quite like this before, but I enjoyed the creativity here. I made the find with my beloved sister, @beluga_squad, during an awesome day of geocaching that involved 34 finds (a personal best)! TFTC :)

I’ve always thought it would be cool if “caches” like these would spontaneously explode- and a free for all would occur! Like those carnival games! Great cache! Thanks for bringing me here!

Love this concept for a puzzle first one I have seen like it, choosing the virtual route answer sent first cache found in CO along this epic road trip driving through 21 states thanks for the fun cache.
