I am not pleased. This is the perfect time of the year to find this cache, before the leaves come out. I've waited for just the right time to search for it, before the snow comes back tomorrow. And I couldn't find it.
At least one of the shrubs appears to have been cut down, so maybe that's what's going on here?

I thought I would try this one again, since I was in the general area today. It is turning out to be a Did Not Find Redemption Day for me! I went back to ground zero without even looking at my GPSr. I noticed the weeds were much more trampled than they were when I was here last (or so I thought the weeds were much more manageable without snow on the ground). Indeed, I would not recommend this one as "snow friendly." I was able to find the cache this time after a couple of minutes searching. There is a multitude of swag items in this cache, and it took me some time to put everything back so the lid would close properly. Thanks for the fun Dawkinakus311.

I really hate to DNF this one, as I know it's there. I felt it was chuckling to me under the snow as I left with my head held low and a big frown on my face. Maybe I was getting stuck on a certain idea of what it was, and where I would hide it. Yet, I was stumped with the clue and the "available in winter" attribute, as low and in the roots doesn't seem conducive to an easily found winter cache. Regardless, if anyone wants to search for this one soon, I have dug up half the snow at GZ, ha.

Missed finding it on my first visit about a week ago, but found without too much trouble today. Maybe it was a little less covered up. All in good shape. sl thanks
