The "J" boys first cache, a water-proof box containing some of their favorite items, including a notebook to tell us you were there!

With Pikes Peak and the Sangres in view, follow the trail through prairie and shale.

Winding is the trail as you hike
One foot in front of the other, you will go.

The miles may be one
or perhaps close to two.

Look for the cedars,
to the left and to the right.

You are nearing the cache when you
reach the point
where the trail bends
and the water descends.

Good luck and have fun!

 Hints

**Just a couple things--in response to our fellow geocachers that left a log visit:

Yes, It is a state park fee area if you choose to enter that way. We enter from a non-fee area, that leads to the cache on a clearly visible man-made dirt trail. There is parking at the trail head from both entry points. :)

I was in Town visiting and camping with My Wife Daughter and grandsons. My Grandsons and I headed out early this morning to get some caching done in the area.

Found with grandsons left some stuff and took some stuff.

It was left out in the open but we put it in a hiding spot near where we think it was placed originally
