Welcome to my first hide, which I am dedicating to my husband in memory of the many hours we have spent playing Resident Evil together!
Resident Evil is a survival horror video game franchise with many puzzle elements. After fighting zombies and running from monsters, safe rooms are a welcome respite. They are a secure place to save the game, store items and mix health components. Each game in the series has a distinct and beautiful song playing in their safe rooms. Which is your favorite?

Resident Evil games uses a system of herbs for health recovery. A green herb will heal a small amount of life. Combining a red and green herb will make a first aid spray that restores a vast amount amount of lost health.
This cache is on the East Big Dry Creek Trail, which is a concrete path that is open daily 5AM to 11 PM. Public parking is available at the Highland Heritage Regional Park. For those navigating with strollers, I would recommend parking at the end of Lone Lynx by Wildcat Elementary as the path is less steep there. The trail is concrete and fairly level, however there is one hill and the cache is a little ways off the trail. It is stashed at a height below the waist.
A metallic object will be required to find the combination for this locked cache. After you have solved the puzzle, please be sure to scramble the combination and lock the box so the game is ready for the next player! Due to the magnetic nature of the puzzle please DO NOT place metallic or magnetic items in the box. Bring your own pen and have fun!
Congratulations to animjason for being the first to find the cache!
