Ellis Island The main Immigration facility for immigrants entering the United States; in the late 19th Century to the mid 20th Century the facility operated from January 1, 1892, until November 12, 1954. It is owned by the Federal government and is now part of the Statue of Liberty National Monument, under the jurisdiction of the US National Park Service. It is situated in New York Harbor between two States and Cities. Jersey City, New Jersey and New York City, New York.

Statue of Liberty was a gift from France to the United States to mark the Centennial of the American Declaration of Independence. The idea of giving a colossal representation of republican virtues to a "sister" republic across the sea served as a focus for the republican cause against other politicians.

Making a road trip out of a NM United game here tonight. Wow great hide, didn't fool us but great hide! I think this will be the last for the day. This CO has worked hard on this series so we are giving it a favorite point, thanks for making our day in Denver! Be back through in a few days after grabbing the 2 northern webcams and visiting Mt Rushmore. Thanks again!

Out getting the daily cache for the streak and birthday caches. There is a nest of mid-feb caches in the area so guess I will be making almost daily trips. Everything in good shape. Pine tree is dying/dead so not much cover anymore. TFTC!

In the area for a full day of softball. Left home at 6am and got back home at 11:30pm at night after watching my daughter play 5 games. I was able to sneak out and grab a few caches between games. Thanks for the fun.
