A beautiful (dry) day to go find this series! Glad I saved this one for last! Actually the hardest one to find - just because there were so many options! Quite the graveyard - of backbones only! Must have been quite the lecture spot at one time with the nice road in and the benches facing the "lake." Too bad it wasn't kept up. Glad it's too early for the bugs and high water! Great area! Saw a couple deer, geese, blue heron rookery, and heard an owl (couldn't spot him!). Walked through grass, willows, and downed trees. Got some cockle burrs and poked by thorns. Enjoyed every minute! Thanks for these great caches and the time and ingenuity it took to place them! Had a nice walk out after the scrambling I did at times for the series - although there was one more obstacle I climbed over! Felt a bit like Jurassic park!

Just reconning the area today. Familiar with trail and river side but not in between. At this hide there are old benches for outdoor talks and old signs of a public development which makes sense on public lands.tftc.
