Quick grab while out running errands. Fun puzzle series - it’s been fun to find a few more of them. TFTC.

I dropped the little one off at a birthday party and then looked for a cache in the area to nab on the way home. This one was close so I headed over to it to get a nice quick cache on the way home. I got near the GZ and parked a bit away on the side of the road and headed back towards the GZ to start the search.I was within a few meters when I heard a crash. A cyclist had a accident right in front of me. I hopped over the rail and ran over to him. He was bleeding from the head and his eyes started to roll back. Oh no, this is not good. I rang up 911 and started first aid. He had a light pulse and was breathing. A minute or so later another man ran up to me and he started doing the same checks I had done but he no longer felt a pulse. CPR was started straight away. His wife was on the phone also with 911. CPR continued until the paramedics and fire dept got there and took over. The Sheriff's Dept was taking statements from us to find out what happened. I told them I was in the area to find a geocache, went over to the side rail and picked up the container to show them. Luckily after the AED was used a couple times and a few shots of epi they said they started to get a light but steady pulse. He got loaded into the ambulance and off to the hospital he went. It's the first time I have ever had to do CPR on a real person, very freaky to do but honestly you don't think much about it when you are doing it. So many trainings get your mind into a auto action state. Hopefully all is well and better with him. I was able to find the cache quickly with the Sheriff and log it. It's still in great shape. This is now going to be a caching story that sticks with me forever. I'm already a first responder but 3 meters from a accident is a bit crazy for being on scene!
