Meadow Wood Sports Complex in Woodland Park is a local favorite for several outdoor activities, weather dependent.  

Facilities inclue a synthetic turf baseball field, 2 regulation size synthetic turf soccer fields, 3 lighted ball fields, playground equipment, a concession stand, an ice/inline hockey rink, 4 lighted tennis courts and a fitness trail.   Plus, the Golden Meadows Dog Park for those furry friends.

And now, there is a traditional geocache as well !

There’s a surprising amount of snow up here! The pickleball court was clear and in use… pretty much everything else was covered. I followed a packed path from parking to GZ and it wasn’t too bad. I seem to remember another cache in this very spot . TFTC!

2TF about 11:15 a.m. this morning on my way home from running errands in Woodland Park. Cute cache. The path to it is getting worn down and easier to walk to in the deep snow, No problems at all. Just glad I am not a shorter person. Great find on a beautiful morning. Gets a FAV. TFTC
