Just a short hike from the Fruita Paleo Area parking lot. You will hike past an old stone cabin on the hike to the cache. The cabin is a point of interest in itself although there is no plaque indicating it's history. Continue on the trail till you get to the cache.

Yo it took us a while to find this one it was a bit further from my GPS than I thought it would be still with the dogs Ellie wants me to throw her stick just looking at it but I don't know where the sticks at so Cali just broke her stick off in through it but Ali didn't see her throw it so it's kind of Joe there there's a stick alright cool alright she threw it and now Ellie sees it and she got it and oh yeah we're talking about geocaching. Geocaching is neat thanks for the Geocache again I'd like to take you out for drinks sometime I think you are a very good geocache Hider and what's that yeah you definitely can get like plus 5-day points for that hide because I enjoyed that Ellie just gave me the stick again so now I'm throwing it again for a while now when I say again though it was actually the first time I threw it during this log so that way I don't want to cause any confusion there did you have anything you want to add? She thought that was a great location to hide the Geocache where else or what else and it's really cold and I it's really cold she wants t it's nice and hot and it's waiting in the car right now it's black tea with honey in it when I drink some of it earlier wasn't the best unfortunately but it's it'll be hot stuff will be good we're currently going to walk back to the car now is our geocaching has concluded for the the afternoon cash Club

Decided to take advantage of a beautiful winter afternoon to look for this cache. Hoping to get our 2nd FTF slot, but missed it by thaaatt much. Instead we ran into Coloradobob just as he found the cache. Running into a fellow cacher was far better than a FTF. We had wonderful conversation and learned about the history of Geocaching. I'm so glad we finally met one of the many local cachers!
