I came across this tunnel and knew that I had to make a cache out of it.

To find the final, you will need to gather information from this tunnel. The final coordinates are:

N 39 30.ABC

W 104 45.DEF

Checksum for ABCDEF equals 23.

A = Number of Birds of Paradise

B = Number of signs on north wall

C = Last digit of year

D = Number of letters in first word of green sign (look high)

E = Number of nails on "Peace" sign

F = Number of bodies of water

Logging this today as I finally got to the first waypoint to gather the information, and enjoy the awesome artwork! I had signed the final while caching with Kerewin0430, but wanted to see the tunnel myself - Thanks for sharing this with us!

What a fun multi! The mural on the tunnel is very cool. I had actually solved this one back in March, but when I saw the final location, I did a cursory check and then made an errant assumption about what needed to be done (it was dark). My elbow was still fresh from surgery, so I deferred this one to another day. Well, today was another day! My eagle-eyed partner (COpackrat) spotted it on approach and we were quickly off to the next location. Thanks for placing this one.

After doing some reading to learn what a "bird of paradise" is, I returned to the murals today and took some pictures to make sure I solved the puzzle correctly. I determined the final location and made a visit later, and found it. The log was dry enough to sign. This was an interesting cache! TFTC!
