Had a nice long walk down the sidewalk to this one. Found what I thought was the cache on the ground but it must have been someone’s duct tape art. Then I did see the cache on the ground. I signed the log & replaced it a bit higher but I doubt it will stay. Unfortunately the lid crumbled in my hand too.

Happy 10th birthday geocache!
Today's geo-adventure started on the west side of town and ended near my home. In the mountains it was 10 degrees with harsh winds blowing snow (and my FJ) sideways. Once back in civilization the temperature returned to a comparatively warm 14 degrees.
This was my last find of the day. It is secured again, and not on the ground. Tftc!

Springfield - the land of Lincoln. I've been there and remember it well. It's small and in the middle of nowhere, just like this cache. The narrative indicates it's hanging, but I found it very grounded. Based on the camo, I think the ground fits it well, and there wasn't any hook or attachment point that I could see in the tree.
Thanks for placing this one and bringing me here! And the yellow smiley too!
Bonus - there's a interesting turd-shaped rock nearby for your viewing pleasure.

Container was lying out in the open with lid off and log gone. Went back to the car and got a new log and hid the container. CO should visit to check placement. TFTC!

Thanks, poolsharkycat! I like this series. I had so much fun yesterday in Aurora, I came back again today. I drove up to some of the caches, rode my bicycle to some, and walked to others. My favorite part of the day was finding the geocaches near the Air Force base where I could hear the roar of the military jets taking off and flying by. Traffic out this direction is not so bad if I can leave Arvada early enough in the morning, so I hope to be back again soon. The grandchildren are out of school starting Thursday afternoon, so my schedule is not so predictable in the summer.
