Dogs  Scenic view

Take a little walk in a lesser know Denver Mountain Park, Mount Berrian.  Limited parking is available and the trail head is located directly to the east of the parking, up the hill. Traction devices are recommended in winter, and the hike up to GZ should take around 20 mintues.  I suggest walking all the way to the top before a short treverse over to the rock outcroppings.  The last 40 feet requires some gradual boulder scrambling, on the way to overlook.  Once there you'll be rewarded with fantastic views of Mount Evans and the Continental Divide.  Please enjoy the view post some pictures, and re hide it well!  Happy Hunting!

FTF @ 9:04 AM!!!!

A great park and cache location. A love the DMPs! Never would have found this if you had not posted a new cache and indirectly planned my morning hike. Beautiful weather, but cold. Wind nearly blew me off once I started the rock scramble. Took a while for me to locate since I couldn’t get my coordinates within 25’, but I persevered. I loved all the little lean-tos on the way up. Some of them you really need to look for carefully - spotted three for sure.

I got down out of the wind to type this log and a little deer walked right up to me on the other side of the tree. Never saw me until I tried to take a picture. Got one as he was looking back at me.
