Sauce au Poivre is a brown sauce with green or black peppercorns. It is one of the small sauces, or compound sauces, derived from the Classic French Espagnole sauce, one of the mother sauces in French cuisine.

Just a small cache in a great area. The only difficult part about this cache will be a very long walk or finding special access.

We were out on a fun Geo-run with GoMRT today, trying to go for a group of caches we called "Tough Terrain Objective 4." Movement to the GZ was unlike most, the terrain and views was absolutely breath-taking in places. We carefully moved off the beaten path, occasionally pausing to watch GoMRT perform random acts of climbing bravado. One arriving at the GZ, we got down to searching. It took some time to make the find. Given the track record of bad reception in this area, we finally found it after expanding the search radius. This cache is out here on its own, but the trip is definitely worth it. Thanks for the fun hunt and awesome site selection!

Making our way over from Just Do It cache by WnT, KTrackers and I were awed by the awesomeness of the boulders you went by on the way to this cache. This was the ultimate cache we wanted today. It was worthy of it. Hoofing our way NW over three hills, around and through monstrous boulders, watching a storm roll in, seeing Pikes Peak watch us, and skiing through the scree to find the cache, we enjoyed the time we had getting there and back. This one for me fills another D/T combo I wanted on my way to 80% of the matrix. Photographs abound for this stop, but not too long. Thunder boomers were making their way in from the SW. We had to get off the mountain. Let's say we earned our lunch at Rudy's on the way back into town for sure! TFTC
