From parking lot (N39 36 760 W107 48 603--see picture below), after entering gate, follow the "Trail of arrows". When the trail meets the road trust the "Trail of your mechanical arrow". All roads are for following and can be your friend, however, at some point you must leave your friend to find the cache.

If you are in fair to good shape and used to Colorado "thin air" you can make it to the cache and back to your vehicle in about 1 and a half to two hours. Allow more time to enjoy the scenery and visit the arch.

This is a great hike with your dogs especially in the late winter, early spring and fall before it gets the summer heat.

We enjoyed following the trail all the way to the arch, and then set our sites on this cache. Although we were within 800’, we weren’t willing to get closer (terrain would have been too much).

This cache is worse for wear. Container is brittle from weather. Could use maintenance.

This is the first find for my husband as well as our friends (who may start geocaching themselves). I think we approached it from the wrong direction, since our footing wasn't stable.
I took the travel bug and my friends left their orienteering compass. We also added an extra protective layer to the cache.

Easy find - beautiful hike! Kiddos were happy to see a 'real' cache with stuff inside for them to look through. :-) T-frog, car L-whistle, Easter chick. SL, TFTC.

Water damaged. We removed corroded batteries and replaced batteries. Put everything in plastic bag. Tried to save it as best as we could.
