Parking available  Short hike (less than 1km)

I'm putting this cache out because we need more Letterboxes, we need more Large containers, and we need more cache/CO names with X for all those alpha challenges in Colorado!  Herndonrd had the large container and will perform local maintenance when I'm not in town.  Use the parking coordinates and then it is a nice walk down the Piney Creek trail to GZ.  Container has a stamp and ink pad (please don't take them), logbook and assorted odds and ends for the kids.  There is an un-activated travel tag for the FTF.

Permission for the cache location has been obtained from the property owner.

I happened to be up in the area trying to get something repaired and this letterbox was nearby. In a attempt to get as many cache types on such a special day I needed a letterbox and this one won! It was a nice little walk over here to this one. The day was about the most perfect weather to be out and about and geocaching. Thanks for getting me out this way! Also love the size of this container being in the city!!

- Q: Why didn’t the rooster cross the road?

A: Because it was chicken.

On a grand geocaching adventure this morning with my good buddy, #1 Beefers. We had a nice walk to the cache from a side street. Great cache, gets a favorite point. Traded swag. I also took home a million bush spurs that stuck to my clothes like magnets. My entire outfit is in the washing machine now. Thanks for the placement, xymN1IGM, and cache donation by herndonrd!

Out on this beautiful morning for a caching adventure with GanderGoose! These are mostly herndonrd placements as this was his area to cover during the INVASION series. Thank you for the placement herndonrd. gets a fav point for the nice sized loaded with swag container. Traded swag. I've got to let you know that my coat was completely covered with lovely seed things from the nearby flora. The dog hair roller wouldn't take them off. It's in the dryer now, and am hoping this will do the trick.

My 17 mile bike ride today took me to this cache at 12:07 am when I made the find. Thanks for the cache and for making my route more fun!

With snow flying, this one almost got tricky! It was a great pick due to its size, the weather conditions, and a nearby CITO. Made sure to pick up any trash in the area in route to this one to keep up with that theme. Not sure we would have come up with a find if this one was any smaller, so am thankful for both it's a type of being a letterbox, it's size, and it being well stocked to boot! A really magical combo today as we were hunting 11 icons and this one nailed it for all the right reasons. Thanks for this really great letterbox! Everything with it is in great shape. Loved the stamp too. Fitting being related to our stop to the zoo earlier in the day.

Walked to this cache while doing the CITO. This was icon 10 for the day. This was also my first experience with a letterbox and it was quite fun. I almost missed the TB hiding in this among all the toys and goodies. I wish I had one to drop off as this seems like a great spot to leave TBs. I wish we could have spent more time along this trail. I would have loved to fins the other letterbox caches. Well have to come again and help with another CITO on a nicer day. TFTC|SL

Nicely done. Signed log. Took some TBs, left some TBs.

Thanks xymN1IGM for giving me a reason to get outside. It’s always worth it when you are enjoying nature. There is nothing better than acting like a kid again, digging through weeds and climbing trees, all to sign my name on a piece of paper.

Found with Cachly for IOS.

Found with animjason and Bhob today. It started getting chilly, so I ate a warm bottle to fight the cold, and fill my belly for a nice nap at GZ. Thanks for the large container.

Thanks xymN1IGM, cache provided by herndonrd! Logged xymN1IGM's 1st CO cache- Mountain View from a ninth galaxy using c:geo!
