Yampa

A division of Ute Indians, the Yampa lived in east Utah on and about Green and Grand Rivers. By 1849, they occupied 500 lodges. Bands of the Yampa included the Akanaquint arid Grand River Ute. They were eventually merged with the White River Ute.

Found it with my wife Skyho on a beautiful fall afternoon. As the sun began to set, we nabbed a few on our way home from town.

We spent a few more minutes on this one than we should have, because of so many possible hiding spots. Once we nabbed it, we had the a-ha moment from the clue. Good one!

Memfis Mafia and I had plans to get near 1000 caches this weekend in South Dakota. Come Thursday when we were to pick up our rental car from Enterprise they said sorry we do not have a car for you. Even though we reserved one a month in advance. There was not another car in town to rent so we called off our trip.

Today we ran out to get enough caches to finish our Hidden Creatures. We ended up over 100 on the day and about 10% of out plan. In any case this was a cache we got today. Thanks for the hide.
