Hiked out to GZ today and placed a new container in the hiding spot. Tried to find the old container, but think it's buried in the fresh 2" of snow. So had to replace the log as well. Attached photo shows the new log listing the 4 finders (so far). If you come across the old container and log, you can throw it away after you find the new container and sign the new log. Thanks to the 4 finders for trying to repair the old broken container.

It might be okay. I brought my TOTT and signed the log at 2pm. I placed it back where it should have been.
Really fun puzzle! and a challenging hide!
Thanks

Sounds like the container broke after only 3 cachers found it. Our bad. We're disabling it until we can get out to repair or replace it. Thanks for your understanding.

Dusted the cobwebs off the old bicycle and gave it a go down the open space trail.

Ran into the FTF team about a quarter of a mile from GZ heading back to parking.

Anyway, we chatted for a bit and they said the container and had some separation issues and that me and my bicycle would not be able to grab it.

I replied that with the big gusts of wind starting that I might find it on the ground.

I took a look and all that was up fifteen feet was the very thin magnet and then the fun started searching in the grass for the container.

I finally found it about thirty from host.

And then I tried to get the magnet down to reunite the pair, no dice , so I wedged it at the base with a piece of survey stick, until it can be replaced.

Sorry for the bad news, but it still was a fun puzzle cache to hunt for and some great exercise to go with it!

When I saw this pop up on Monday night, I worked to get a positive checker and was pleased when I did. Reading the clue on the cache page and zeroing into ground zero on google earth, I realized I would need a tool which I don't have. I contacted Karen to see if she had the type of tool we might need. She had just solved it as well and fortunately had a proper tool. However, she couldn't go for it until today. Lucky for us we were still the FTF ;-) We had a rather easy retrieval but a more challenging (McGyver solution) was needed to replace it. Thanks to gampa&gamma for an excellent puzzle, nice hike and fun hide!
