After completing Ute Valley Park with as many smilies as we seniors could, we decided to tackle Palmer Park today. This was the first one of day. Attacked this one from above and below and finally got it from he correct place. TFTC.

Coordinates are spot on, but that is where the fun begins. Luckily I had my granddaughter along who was nimble enough to make the grab. Signed a fresh log. TFTC!

I don't get up to Colorado Springs very often, but today I had to go to Costco and took a detour for this cache. After searching for a few minutes I spotted some small swag items on the rock ledge. After another couple of minutes I spotted the log several feet away. It was still in its baggie, but it was too wet to sign. I did not spot a container. I tried to dry the log out a bit, but it was starting to rain and so that wasn't going to work. I put the swag and the log in a likely hiding spot and covered them with a rock. I'll send a photo to the CO showing where I hid this. This cache definitely needs some attention. It's been a long time since I've been in this park, so thanks for giving me an incentive to come back. The view of Pike's Peak is fabulous from here.

Took a little detour while heading to the store to get this. I have Mtn Biked this park for over 35 years and never gets old. Thanks for taking the time to place a new one in the area. TFTC SL

CO - FTF!
Hadn't planned on even leaving the house today, until I see a new one that published last night.
I drove in from the west side and sunrise was spectacular as I hit the top.
To my surprise there were three other vehicles in the parking area already.
At GZ I spotted R&B CO down below still in the hunt and I suggested to look over this.
She scrambled up the rock face and made the grab.
We chatted for a bit while signing the log and then headed out.
Thanks for a fun way to start the day off!
