Wow!! That was one tricky hide. Luckily we got a hint from the CO and on our second trip back to the GZ we got it. Probably not the best choice for a first letterbox, but we got it. TFTC!! Earns a favorite.

This was a really fun one with animjason and Bhob. I got to play in the grass too.

I don't know why I let this one sit on the map so long. I love high D/T and non-traditional geocaches, but today was the day to switch this to a smiley!
Found with BearAdair and Bhob. We all enjoyed it! BearAdair enjoyed playing in the grass while we did some work!
This one gets a fave!

Out and about on a very warm early spring day with "animjason" and "BearAdair" - this was the third of nine geocaches that I found along the way. TN-LN-SL. Thanks !

It was a T5M night! Four caches and, count ‘em, ZERO DNFs and ZERO PAF! Geosenses we’re rocking tonight. Oh, and my daughter did the honors on two tree climbs. So there’s that.
Every once in a while you have a cache that seems daunting. You’ve seen it on the map. You’ve read the logs. You know it could be a challenge. And yet you have no idea what to expect. I’ve gotten used to expecting the unexpected with T5M caches. And so when I went to stage one a few weeks ago that’s exactly what I encountered. The unexpected. But I expected that. So was it really unexpected? I’ll leave that rhetorical question hanging there.
I can’t say I “enjoyed” stage one. But I appreciated the effort that went into it. I didn’t feel like tackling the final right then so I put it on hold.
Tonight I decided to go after the final. My daughter was with me and although she was a huge help on other searches tonight, for this one she spent more time being the muggle lookout and getting concerned by all the perceived snake holes in the ground. We saw no snakes. But there were several groups of muggles.
This was an interesting GZ. Lots of possibilities and one that could’ve been particularly nasty but thankfully we didn’t have to deal with that. I had an early idea of where the final would be. But that wasn’t it. I checked a few other spots but then realized that would be too obvious. So I kept with my original idea and implemented it somewhere else. And sure enough that was it!
I love a good and unique Letterbox Cache and this definitely qualifies. I stamped the log and was glad to get this found on my first trip (to the final at least), within a reasonable amount of time, and without outside help. You can’t ask for much more when you are expecting the unexpected.
Thanks for the hide the5millers. I appreciate you keeping this cache active for everyone to enjoy.

This a great cache. Found stage 1 and headed to stage 2. If it wasn’t for a prior log entry to help, I would have been stumped.
A Fav for sure!

I went for a 10 mile bike ride after work today for some exercise and caching. I found this one along the way at 6:00 pm. Thanks for the cache!
I got a kick out of the first container - it reminded me of a very favorited cache up by DIA. At the final I looked around for quite a while and did not spot it and decided to leave. I walked over to my bike and was heading away but then decided to give it one more look. I went back and found it in about a minute of additional looking! This is the best cache I have found in a long time.

For giggles I made a stop on a meandering way home to look for the cache. I did not have high hopes of finding it, but I thought I'd give it a shot. Success! I laughed during parts of it and felt satisfied that I found the final in a few short minutes. Can you imagine if this was UV?! Spied an adorable juvenile snake close to wp1. Favorite!

Finally found it! After a failed search and a hint from the owner I finally located this one! I was about ready to give up wen I located the hiding spot. Felt really silly when I had it in hand because I had been looking just feet from this spot the whole time. Thanks for a tricky and fun cache! TFTC

Worked through the first waypoint pretty quickly. When I got to the final I thought this was going to take a long time. I must be getting used to 5miller hides it was in the 2nd spot I looked! Sl, thanks!
