This is a very simple Cache and Dash.  There is lots of parking close by but the Muggle Traffic can be heavy at times so use stealth when you search for and replacing the cache.  The lid to the container is attatched so you will have to take the container apart where it is to sign the log sheet.  Please replace the cache just as you found it.

The name of this cache is "Back Yard Chickens".  I am a big fan of back yard chickens and I have a flock of my own.  I have had chickens at my house here in Loveland for 3 1/2 years now.  My family loves the fresh eggs, and the Grandkids love to go out and see the chickens every time they come over and they really like being able to gather the eggs.  This year we added 5 Turkeys to our flock but they will only be around til Thanksgiving.  Most people don't realize that Chickens and Turkeys are two of the fastest growing birds in the world.  I placed this cache here because this is close to where I get my new baby chicks and also where I get their feed.  There are lots of places in Northern Colorado to get baby chicks and feed.  Also, at the same location where I get my chicken feed, they have a few Geocaching supplys that people can pick up while they are in the area.  If you see some back yard chicken flocks, take a picture of them and post them on this cache page so we can see some of the examples of what others are doing.  The pictures I have put on here are all from chickens and turkeys we have raised over the past few years.  This container is large enough to handle small trackables or small swag.  I have started the cache out with a bunch of the small baseball beads I use as my signature swag.  There is also the log sheet which is in a small black container with a baggie inside to make sure that it stays dry.  There is also a key ring in the cache.  Thanks for looking for this cache and enjoy this beautiful area.  Loveland is a great place for caching and there are many really nice caches in this area.  Good Luck and Good Caching. **************CONGRATULATIONS TO MEMFIS MAFIA FOR FTF************

Didn't see any chickens other than myself. Great cache though. It was right in front of my eyes. Signed the cache and replaced it. Thanks RockiesGuy for the cache.

Wow! 0° today but we needed a cache for our calendar so we searched for a snow friendly cache. Not very many muggles out today. Thanks for placing this cache for us to find!

I am quite fond of backyard chickens myself and loved visiting my friend's coops before they moved. Thanks for the hide!

Took 2 times. The first time was due to a muggle sitting in the area watching. This time I just made the decision to mark a DNF when I spotted it.
