Takes less than an hour  Available at all times  Parking available  Stealth required  Park and Grab  Food Nearby

This is a challenge cache.  The cache IS at the given coordinates, however you have to meet certain criteria to mark this cache as found. Read below to understand this challenge.

There is plenty of room to park along the shoulder, and you may also find parking nearby in one of the parking lots.

Congrats barasaur on FTF!

This challenge is going to require you to find 20 caches overall, all at certain intervals.  You must find one cache in every 5-mile increment away from your "home" or central position.  When you look at a cache page, it will tell you how far away from your home location it is located.  When creating your geocaching account, you should have set your home location.  Geocachers that are concerned about sharing their home coordinates can set their home location to a different location for this challenge (eg. a parking lot or the middle of a street). You may also use an arbitrary set of coordinates for this challenge without changing them on your profile, but please use the honor system here. Then, go out and find caches at different intervals to qualify for this challenge. You do NOT need to give me your home location, I'm just helping you set one up to control this challenge. All you need to do is tell me how far each cache is away from you.

GSAK users: use this macro, you will be able to change the settings for not only this challenge but any others you find, and it gives you an easy screen to copy/paste into your log or take a screen shot of. Use Distance_Bands.

The increments required: (from your selected "home" coordinates)

0-4.99 Miles

5-9.99 Miles

10-14.99 Miles

15-19.99 Miles

90-94.99 Miles

95-100 Miles

To receive credit: in your log, you must show the name of each cache, its distance from your "home" location, GC codes, and the date you found it.  You may use one of the many GSAK macros to help you figure out if you qualify, or you may find the caches with the various search engines through geocaching and your found caches.  Posting screen shots of your qualifications is ok if you can prove they are your finds, and having your profile set to public helps.

All caches count for this challenge, including events.  As you will have to drive 100 miles away from your home at a minimum, the D/T rating is based upon the availability of caches in all areas, as well as the distance traveled to complete this challenge.  Remember, this is based upon 100 miles around your home in a circle, so they don't all have to come from the same direction.

As always, you may sign/stamp the log ahead of time, mark a note on the cache page, and then change it to found with your qualifications when you are able.  Challenges are meant to be fun and a reward for doing something extraordinary, but keep in mind they are entirely optional.

Found with dustyriver. We wanted to come up from Denver and attend an event in Northern Colorado. It has been a few years since we have, so we figured we would make a day out of it. We enjoyed all the finds and we really need to cache this area more often. Thanks for all the fun!

MPLC

Our English is not perfect, we use Google Translate to help us ...

Our journey began last August 22 and will take us to visit twelve US states and two Canadian provinces ... Our departure was from Baie-Comeau, a city on the North Shore of Quebec and then continue for a few days in Quebec City where we did some Geocaching .... Then we stopped at St-Eustache and Ville de Laval, still in Quebec, and then flew to Portland, Oregon... We made stop in Umatilla on August 28 still in Oregon, August 29 in Boise, Idaho, August 30 in Twin Falls and August 31st we are in Salt Lake City for two days... The 2nd of september we were in Rock Springs. Wyoming and the september 3 the road brought us to Laramie, Wyoming... On September 4th and 5th we were in the Colorado Spring area, CO ... Today we are heading to Fort Collins, CO

Throughout the trip we have targeted some caches that will help us achieve our personal goals and we will certainly discover new places that Geocachers here will want us to discover ... We have been planning this trip for several months and know we will not be able to not all see for lack of time ... There are many caches but we must close our eyes can not find them all ... But it is with pleasure that we will put our signature on some of them ...

Thank you for creating these caches that add smiles to our profile and make us have a good time regardless of the mood of Mother Nature ... Our log will be the same for the whole day and if there is a particularity we will add it at the beginning of the text ... Favorites will be added here and there for all the work done ... TFTC

We found the cache and signed the log. Since we have already logged GC3631F on 6/4/12 which has the same requirements as this challenge we automatically qualify for this challenge. We have reposted a picture of our qualifications.
