This is a challenge cache.  The cache IS at the given coordinates, however you have to meet certain criteria to mark this cache as found. Read below to understand this challenge.

There is plenty of room to park along the shoulder, but still be careful here.

A big thanks to Spooty for helping me come up with this idea!

Congrats to Denali41 on FTF!! Thanks for all the fun moose stories, keep them coming!

Everyone knows I love moose, so this is a challenge to help you, and me, find them!

There are many ways to claim this cache, but the number remains the same, you must find or activate a combination of 5 moose.  You may discover/own Alberta the Moose trackables (I own one to get you started if you find me at an event), other trackables with "moose" in the name, or you may find any cache with "moose" in the title.

The more "moose" caches that are listed, the more I will be tempted to go find myself!  This challenge is a reward to those who find moose themselves, and it will also help me find more moose too.  This is meant to be fun, not overly difficult, I really hope you enjoy completing this one!

To claim credit:  You will have to prove you have found the required number of "moose" in the world one way or another.  For caches, simply post the name of the cache, GC code, and date you found the cache.  For trackables, you will probably want to take a screen shot of your trackables owned/discovered page to show the icon for Alberta the Moose trackables.  You may also give out the special tracking codes for the ones you have discovered (see below).

HUGE DISCLAIMER:  Due to Geocaching rules you may NOT use caches created or owned by myself for this challenge.  You also can NOT use the Moose Quiz caches from the Wingin'It Wherigo series, even though they were created by a group of cachers, I still created the wherigo cartridges and therefore you still may not use these caches.  ALL the different requirements (other than discovering my Alberta the Moose trackable) you can use to qualify for this cache must come from yourself, or someone else.  If you do not qualify properly, or post your qualifications in a timely manner, your log may be deleted.  FTF status is also dependent upon verification.

Extra Note: If you are showing the trackables you have discovered, make sure in no way do you give out their code, as it will allow future cachers to "discover" the trackable without actually seeing it. Every trackable is also given an extra tracking code, which usually starts with "TB" and can be found on the trackable page, that you can give out and won't allow people to discover it. Please use this extra code if needed.

As always, you may sign/stamp the log ahead of time, mark a note on the cache page, and then change it to found with your qualifications when you are able.  Challenges are meant to be fun and a reward for doing something extraordinary, but keep in mind they are entirely optional.

This particular challenge was my backup plan for last week when I went for 15 mystery caches in a day. I didn't need it then but decided to "cache it in" today with a nice morning walk. Honestly I think foot is the best way to approach this one as College always seems to be heavily trafficked. That said, the find was easy and nicely equipped with a new log. As for the "5 Moose Challenge", my list of qualifying caches are:

GC1M9ZT: Moosecow at Longstreet - 11/17/2017
GC6AKYT: Moose Poop? - 5/29/2016
GC5GGDQ: Moose Trax - 8/24/2015
GC5BZG7: Moose - 8/30/2014
GC4KR1X: Muddy Moose Tracks - 9/22/2013

Thanks for the moosey fun!

Here on an amazing 10 day geocaching road trip with sweet-marie, kteeeee and laphamclan. We flew into Kansas City and after renting a car we drove through Kansas, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Missouri and back to Kansas. All logs were either signed CCC (Crazy Canadian Cachers) or stamped with our red CCC stamp. Answers to Virtuals and Earthcaches have been sent in on behalf of the group.
Writing a note until I can verify. We replaced the broken container, but this series is in need of maintenance.

Greetings from Beautiful British Columbia! Off on a 10 day, 9 state geo-adventure with kteeeee, Laphamclan and MissPeach13. Many thanks to all of the COs for placing these caches for us to find and adding to our fun day. We used our CCC (Canadian Caching Crew) stamp or initials on all of the logs.

Today we headed to the oldest cache in Colorado and then changed our original plans to go to Mt. Evans as the road was closed due to snow and we were unable to do the caches there Frown We went through the city of Denver instead and stopped in Fort Collins for the night.

Sadly this entire series is in need of maintenance. I am posting a note until I can verify that I qualify

Our Colorado vacation continued today with some caching between Ft Collins and Greeley. We found several challenge caches along this road before heading southeast. My profile shows we've discovered 3 Alberta the Moose travel bugs, 1 Close Encounters of the Moose Kind geocoin, and own a Moose Mob geocoin. TFTC!

MPLC

Our English is not perfect, we use Google Translate to help us ...

Our journey began last August 22 and will take us to visit twelve US states and two Canadian provinces ... Our departure was from Baie-Comeau, a city on the North Shore of Quebec and then continue for a few days in Quebec City where we did some Geocaching .... Then we stopped at St-Eustache and Ville de Laval, still in Quebec, and then flew to Portland, Oregon... We made stop in Umatilla on August 28 still in Oregon, August 29 in Boise, Idaho, August 30 in Twin Falls and August 31st we are in Salt Lake City for two days... The 2nd of september we were in Rock Springs. Wyoming and the september 3 the road brought us to Laramie, Wyoming... On September 4th and 5th we were in the Colorado Spring area, CO ... Today we are heading to Fort Collins, CO

Throughout the trip we have targeted some caches that will help us achieve our personal goals and we will certainly discover new places that Geocachers here will want us to discover ... We have been planning this trip for several months and know we will not be able to not all see for lack of time ... There are many caches but we must close our eyes can not find them all ... But it is with pleasure that we will put our signature on some of them ...

Thank you for creating these caches that add smiles to our profile and make us have a good time regardless of the mood of Mother Nature ... Our log will be the same for the whole day and if there is a particularity we will add it at the beginning of the text ... Favorites will be added here and there for all the work done ... TFTC

We found the cache but at present we don't qualify for this challenge. We only have two moose caches (One of which is in Spain!). We will have to go hunting some more.

Found the cache and signed the log. We easily qualify with 35 "moose" caches.

I've never heard of any rule prohibiting cachers from using caches hidden by the CO in claiming challenges hidden by that same CO; I have cachers claiming my challenges using my caches all the time. So the list below is valid as far as I'm concerned:
