This is a challenge cache.  The cache IS at the given coordinates, however you have to meet certain criteria to mark this cache as found. Read below to understand this challenge.

There is plenty of room to park along the shoulder or in one of the nearby parking lots.  The container is big enough for swag and small trackables.

Congrats Denali41 on FTF!

This is another challenge cache meant to reward those who attend events.  To qualify for this challenge, simply prove you have attended 15 events or more.  You may count normal Events, CITO events, MEGA, or Block Party.  To prove your qualifications, you may post the names/GC codes and dates of the events you have attended, attach a screen shot of your profile or GSAK information, or whatever method works easiest for you to prove you have been to at least 15 events.

Here in Northern Colorado we have a monthly dinner on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.  If you are short on events, come join us for dinner and fun!  There are always events being planned for one reason or another, and we are starting to have monthly events for hiking as well.  Events are a huge part of geocaching and the main socail aspect of the game, so I hope you start attending events and meeting new people!  There are always trackables to discover, people to meet, stories to hear, geocaching hints and tips to be given out, and every once in awhile there's a raffle for free stuff!

Even if you haven't been to 15 events, there are events in the area for 5, 10, and 25 events by either myself or Memfis Mafia, so keep an eye out for them.  This way, you get an extra little bonus for every 5 events you attend.   As always, you may sign/stamp the log ahead of time, mark a note on the cache page, and then change it to found with your qualifications when you are able.

Here on an amazing 10 day geocaching road trip with sweet-marie, kteeeee and laphamclan. We flew into Kansas City and after renting a car we drove through Kansas, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Missouri and back to Kansas. All logs were either signed CCC (Crazy Canadian Cachers) or stamped with our red CCC stamp. Answers to Virtuals and Earthcaches have been sent in on behalf of the group.
My statistics will verify that I qualify for this Challenge.

Celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary with a 2 week road trip, working on challenges, favorited caches, virtuals and earthcaches. Thanks for placing and maintaining these caches! Adding some random nearby traditionals to the mix today.

MPLC

Our English is not perfect, we use Google Translate to help us ...

Our journey began last August 22 and will take us to visit twelve US states and two Canadian provinces ... Our departure was from Baie-Comeau, a city on the North Shore of Quebec and then continue for a few days in Quebec City where we did some Geocaching .... Then we stopped at St-Eustache and Ville de Laval, still in Quebec, and then flew to Portland, Oregon... We made stop in Umatilla on August 28 still in Oregon, August 29 in Boise, Idaho, August 30 in Twin Falls and August 31st we are in Salt Lake City for two days... The 2nd of september we were in Rock Springs. Wyoming and the september 3 the road brought us to Laramie, Wyoming... On September 4th and 5th we were in the Colorado Spring area, CO ... Today we are heading to Fort Collins, CO

Throughout the trip we have targeted some caches that will help us achieve our personal goals and we will certainly discover new places that Geocachers here will want us to discover ... We have been planning this trip for several months and know we will not be able to not all see for lack of time ... There are many caches but we must close our eyes can not find them all ... But it is with pleasure that we will put our signature on some of them ...

Thank you for creating these caches that add smiles to our profile and make us have a good time regardless of the mood of Mother Nature ... Our log will be the same for the whole day and if there is a particularity we will add it at the beginning of the text ... Favorites will be added here and there for all the work done ... TFTC

With regard to the cache container: The hint is good but the coordinates are off by 25 to 30 feet, so you will have to expand the search area. Note that the sun is not a rock, even though t is made from rocks.

With regard to the challenge: I've attended 21 regular events and five CITO events, so I easily qualify; please check my public statistics. Good job, FDF favorite point, and TFTC!
